Immerse yourself in the surreal and intriguing as you wander through a large field of mirrors reflecting constantly changing scenes of Hyde Park.

Using 324 mirror faces, Field is never the same, no matter who you are or where you stand. Discover the changing nature of the trees, the grass and the sky, and then return at night, when this multifaceted installation is lit to create new reflections.

Field is not only a celebration of the park itself; it is meditation on the nature of perspective. As you walk through, you will find yourself questioning what is real and which is image, with Field asking us to reflect on ourselves, those around us, our past, and what is just around the corner.

Field is created by Out of the Dark. Based in Auckland, Out of the Dark specialises in creative solutions and treatments of space through design, installation and placemaking. Out of the Dark is run by creative directors Angus Muir and Alexandra Heaney with project assistance from Simon van Praag of Fresh Concept.
