Junior creatives, show us your world.

We invite budding photographers aged 3 to 12 years to enter the Little Sydney Lives photography competition.

Fantastical, botanical, sibling-rivalrous, splashy or routine – we’re looking for stirring images that reveal what our young residents find intriguing.

Celebrating the unique viewpoint of Sydney’s young people, Little Sydney Lives will end with a large-format outdoor gallery displaying the works of 20 junior photographers from 15 September to 9 October.

  1. Prizes

    Entries will be judged in 2 age categories: 3 to 7 years and 8 to 12 years.

    The grand prize winner in each category will receive a gift valued at $500.

    The runner-up prize winner in each category will receive a gift valued at $250.

    Winners will be announced on the opening night of the exhibition, Thursday 15 September.

  2. Who can enter?

    Children living in Sydney aged 3 to 12 years.

  3. Closing date

    Enter your best shots by midnight on Tuesday 24 May 2022.

    You can enter up to 2 images.
