The Australian Life photography exhibition is a platform to show the many experiences, places and faces of our country.

Art & About Sydney invites Australian photographers to submit images representing Australian Life.

Whether you’re a professional or amateur photographer, judges look for images that engage and intrigue, showing Australia beyond the icons. The winning image will receive a $10,000 prize.

This year, the competition is being judged by key industry leaders, Tamara Dean, photographer, installation and performance artist, Ken Done, influential Australian visual artist and Wesley Enoch, director of the Sydney Festival.

Twenty two finalists will be chosen and exhibited in Hyde Park from 13 September to 7 October 2018. Photographs will be seen by hundreds of thousands of people as they make their way through the park. Images will also be published online.
