Art has a vital role to play in transforming our city spaces and laneways into intriguing and inviting places. The City has worked closely with creative communities and local businesses to reactivate what were once forgotten thoroughfares, turning them into lively hubs enjoyed by visitors and commuters during the day and in the evenings. This year, we’ve asked four teams of artists and architects to bring their unique vision to these spaces. From works that offer a shimmering beauty, to a journey into the city’s wilderness, you’ll discover a new perspective on the urban as you take a walk through our city spaces and laneways.
